Following the postponement of the elections, many Nigerians have been reacting to the steps taken by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Mary Ikoku, Founder, Emerge Women on TVC news special program “Nigeria Votes 2019”accuses the INEC not to have seen this coming, “why must such postponement be made even when materials are distributed to local government?”
Lagos which is a business hub has been discovered to be so deserted and many Lagosians are not happy with such set back has they have refused to go to their various shops, and many have traveled distance just to cast their vote; business shut down and many experience inconveniences.
Adenike, a corp member in Sokoto State speaking to Brain Trust Hub reacted to Atiku Abubakar’s message of patient, “What should we be patient about? When are we going to get it right in Nigeria for crying out loud? They risk our lives in all States, sleeping inside cold, no bed, no security, and they refuse to give us our training allowance”
“Is four years not enough to prepare or what are they trying to tell us now? What are they doing since 2015? Is this the promised change? She added.
Mr. Taiwo, an electorate in Ilesa, Osun State told Brain Trust Hub “there will definitely be a low turnout in next day INEC might have fixed”
